Building To Action

Apps shaped around everyday work.

We’re building tools for the practical jobs that keep charities, churches and community organisations moving.

See what each app is intended to help with, its current stage and how to get involved.

Where we’re heading

Choose the apps your work needs.

We’re developing a connected family of apps, with a shared account where it makes work easier. Hub is one option; you won’t need every app to benefit from a particular tool.

Clear purpose. Appropriate access.

Each app has its own job. Shared organisation information is intended to reduce repeated entry, with access limited to the people and apps that need it.

What you can use today

The demos are separate examples using fictional information and reset when refreshed. Shared accounts and connections between apps are still being developed. A waiting list records your interest; it does not create an account or give app access.

To Action Hub

Demo + waiting list

Keeping everyday work moving

The aim is to make agreed work and responsibilities easier to find, so teams can spend less effort working out what needs attention next.

How it could help

A team returning to an agreed action should be able to see the work and the next useful conversation.

Finding a useful starting point

We want teams to start with a relevant template, guide or checklist, then adapt and review it for their own charity instead of starting with a blank page.

How it could help

Preparing a policy review could begin with a suitable starting point and the context needed to use it responsibly.

To Action

Turning a discussion into a next step

The aim is to make decisions, ownership and follow-up clearer, with a proportionate process that people can return to between meetings.

How it could help

After a trustee meeting, the intended flow is a clear decision, an agreed action and a named person taking it forward.

To Action Preaching Plan

Concept preview

Making circuit planning easier to follow

The planned product is intended to bring availability, planning and communication into a clearer process for the people coordinating a preaching plan.

How it could help

A planning conversation could start with a clearer view of availability and the arrangements still to agree.

To Action Fire Risk Assessment

Demo + waiting list

Organising information for responsible review

We are developing a draft tool to help organise assessment information, evidence and follow-up actions for appropriate review.

How it could help

The intended benefit is a clearer working record. The tool does not provide an inspection, certification or a compliance guarantee.

Risk Assessments

Demo + waiting list

Work through hazards and controls, then prepare a draft assessment for review.

Describe an activity or location, who could be affected and the controls already in place. Use the demo to explore further actions and review dates. A competent person must check any real assessment for its circumstances.

How it could help

Try the fictional walkthrough on the product page to see its intended workflow.

ScopeWorks

Demo + waiting list

Turn a building-project idea into a clearer brief before seeking advice or quotations.

Set out the need, explore the work involved and keep assumptions and indicative costs together. ScopeWorks is being developed as a starting point for project planning, rather than a survey, professional specification or contractor quotation.

How it could help

Try the fictional walkthrough on the product page to see its intended workflow.

Risk Register

Demo + waiting list

Keep organisational risks, controls and review actions together.

See what could affect your organisation, what is being done about it and who needs to follow up. The demo shows a working risk record that a team could revisit as circumstances change.

Charity Training

Demo + waiting list

Explore practical learning for volunteers, trustees and charity teams.

The training demo shows short lessons, questions to check understanding and a simple progress view. Courses and learner access are in development; the demo does not award a qualification or certificate.

Goodrole

Demo + waiting list

Bring a role’s purpose, responsibilities and person specification into one consistent pack.

Explore how a team could draft and review a job description and person specification together. Goodrole’s demo uses a fictional role; recruitment decisions and final approval remain with your organisation.

How it could help

Try the fictional walkthrough on the product page to see its intended workflow.

Pew to You

Demo + waiting list

Explore how useful church items could find a new home.

The fictional demo shows a listing, an enquiry and an agreed collection. It is an example of the idea, rather than a live exchange: no real items can be listed or claimed here.

How it could help

Try the fictional walkthrough on the product page to see its intended workflow.

Shaping support around the same practical questions

Alongside the apps, you can enquire about support for strategy, governance, working processes, buildings, funding bids and digital projects. Start with the question or task you need help with.

Enquiries are welcome. We agree fit, availability, the work included, timing and fees before an engagement begins.

Explore consultancy and reviews

Help us build around your day-to-day work.

You do not need a technical specification. Tell us what happens now, what makes it difficult and what you would like to be easier. You can share an idea or join the waiting list on the relevant app page.
