Who it’s for
Charities and faith organisations that want a structured first conversation about a live organisational question.
What we can discuss with you
- Making the question and intended outcome clear
- Bringing together current information, assumptions and the people involved
- Identifying practical options, gaps and who needs to be involved next
- Setting out a focused next step for the organisation to consider
How the support could work
If a scoped conversation is agreed, the planned approach would begin with the situation you are in rather than assuming every organisation needs the same answer.
Start with your question
Describe the work, challenge or decision that needs attention and the outcome you are hoping to make clearer.
Agree the focus and boundaries
Confirm what a proportionate conversation could cover, the information that would be useful and where another kind of support may be more appropriate.
Work through the practical options
Consider the options, people, information and decisions that may help the organisation move forward.
Record the next steps
Leave with a clearer shared view of the proportionate action, further conversation or specialist input to consider.
What the work could give you
If a scoped conversation is agreed, the aim would be to leave the organisation clearer about:
- the question it is trying to address and the outcome it is seeking
- the information, people and decisions that need to be brought into view
- a proportionate next action and whether other support may be needed
What happens next
Email us with a short outline of your question and we will discuss the most appropriate next step.
What this does and doesn’t cover
A conversation does not replace an organisation's own decisions, governance responsibilities or any specialist advice it needs.

From a first question to agreed work
We first check whether the work is a suitable fit and whether we have availability. A written proposal sets out the work, what you will receive, timing and fees. Paid work starts only after the engagement is agreed.
An enquiry does not book work or commit you to a fee. Keep your first outline brief and avoid sending personal or sensitive records.
